What is a Promotional Product?

Bio: Russell has been working in the Promo industry for over a decade. As the CEO of The Promo Addict, he is focused on driving business development and overseeing sales management. A proud member of EO Edmonton, Russ enjoys the entrepreneurial journey, working collaboratively with his team on creative projects.
Russ is passionate about the industry and actively supports initiatives that foster growth and mentorship.
In his free time, Russ loves BBQing and spending time with his friends and family, creating memorable moments over great food.
Jocelyn Bird

Random Fun Fact: Jocelyn was the Canadian Dessert Champion in 2016
Bio: Jocelyn is a lifelong artist with a strong foundation in visual communication, having graduated from NAIT’s Graphic Communications program. She has since developed a successful career in the graphic design and promotional products industry. As Chief Operating Officer at The Promo Addict, Jocelyn oversees Vendor Relations and Brand Management, while also leading cross-functional operations, improving internal workflows, optimizing supply chain logistics, and ensuring project delivery aligns with strategic business goals. Her leadership supports company-wide efficiency and growth, while maintaining a focus on quality, brand consistency, and client satisfaction. Outside the office, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her children, playing soccer, and baking.
Krista Franchuk
Inside Sales Representative

Random Fun Fact: Krista won’t drink water without a straw
Bio: With a Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a certificate in Graphic Design, Krista’s experiences are wide-ranging. Krista has spent time working in the oil and gas, waste, construction, not-for-profit, and business consulting industries. When not at the office, Krista enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her son at the rink and her daughter on the diamond, and gardening in the spring and summer (and dreaming of gardening in the fall & winter). Krista is excited to assist customers with their unique promotional needs.

Bio: Ash is a lifelong resident of Sherwood Park. She graduated from Salisbury Composite High School and then went on to become a Journeyman Hairdresser and Stylist. After a few years as a fashion innovator Ash decided to chase her passion for creative service and fell in love with custom branded merchandise. In her free time, you can find her planning her next tattoo or doing some local thrifting! Ash is here to help customers find the perfect promotional product for their upcoming event or outfit their staff with some amazing apparel.
Erin Cooper

Random Fun Fact: Erin can knit just about anything
Bio: After 34 years in Rocky Mountain House, Erin was ready for a new adventure. In 2024, she closed her fibre art retail store and made the move to Sherwood Park. Throughout her career, Erin has held professional licenses in a range of industries—including hairstyling, Alberta Registries, auto and home insurance, finance, and indie yarn dyeing. No matter the field, stellar customer service has always been her top priority, which made joining The Promo Addict a natural fit. At The Promo Addict, Erin performs admin tasks as well as providing sales support.
Shzyla Reyez

Random Fun Fact: Shzy can’t start the day without coffee.
Bio: With a Computer Associate’s Degree and a graduate of Culinary Arts, Shzyla’s experiences are wide-ranging. She has been working in the Hospitality & BPO Industry for years since graduating from College. During her free time, she love spending time with her family, cooking, and surfing. Shzyla’s role coordinates with various internal teams, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, tracking project progress, and identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
Shriya Pathak
Production Coordinator/Operator

Random Fun Fact: Human eyes focus on 50 different objects every Second.
Bio: Shriya is a Production Coordinator at The Promo Addict with over six years of experience in the embroidery and promotional industry. Her interest in embroidery began after earning a degree in Textile Design, and she started her career as an Embroidery Digitizer in India. After moving to the U.S. in 2015, she held roles in embroidery coordination and design for several years before relocating to Canada in 2023. She joined The Promo Addict as an Embroidery Artist and transitioned to Production Coordinator in 2024.
Shriya enjoys the dynamic nature of the promotional industry and is always eager to learn something new. In her free time, she enjoys music, Korean dramas, and spending time with her family.
Maria Garcera
Embroidery/Heat Press Operator
Favourite Promo Item: Shirts
Random Fun Fact: It is impossible to hum while holding your nose.
Bio: Maria is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Commerce. She worked in the import-export garments industry in the Philippines for over 15 years, serving in various roles such as production coordinator, merchandiser, embroidery digitizer, production manager, and eventually operational manager. She migrated to Canada in 2001 with her entire family. She consistently engages in volunteer work and participates in medical, dental, and humanitarian missions almost every year.
Rex Enriquez
Accounting Technician
Favourite Promo Item: Swag the dog and reversible plushies that are really cute, shirts with awesome designs, desk organizers, speakers with good sound and tumblers with its unique designs.
Random Fun Fact: I love to sing but singing doesn’t love me back!
Bio: Rexon graduated college with a degree in BS in Accountancy. He has been practicing accounting since 2017. At The Promo Addict, Rex’s primary tasks are making sure our suppliers are paid on time, collecting payments from customers in a timely manner, and other accounting related tasks.

Bio: Swag the Dog has been working at The Promo Addict since January 2019. The office felt like it needed a fun loving mascot to be incorporated into the team and who better than a happy animal that basically gets excited about all kinds of swag! We love seeing Swag on all types of promotional items. Next time you stop by the shop be sure to ask for some Swag the Dog Swag.
